Can someone tell me how somebody can call or go allin before the flop, with a 3 6 off suit, or something like that, and then somehow they either get a straight or there cards come up. Anybody else would fold. Kind of fishy.

Well, I'm not sure about you (or anyone else who tries to play poker with SKILL), but I consider myself an unlucky person. Now, I have this theory: If you take the "luckiness" of every person on the face of the earth, then take the average, you will get zero luck - the exact middle ground between good and bad luck. That means, for every bit unlucky I am, there is someone out there who has the same amount of luck, only it's good luck. These people have figured out they are lucky, and as a result, push with anything, knowing they are going to crack the unlucky player's AA.

It's all risk vs return. The more the risk the higher the return, right? Unfortunately not in poker. The pot determines if there's enough return for the risk taken. If there's enough return then there's no risk. Fortunately not everybody sees it that way. They're willing to take big risks for not enough return and that's where the rest of us get paid. Some guys are just roulette players playing poker. God Bless Them!
